Sole Salon is an Aveda Lifestyle Salon Spa which is part of the Aveda Lifestyle Business Network. This salon and spa clinic is located near Oakland and San Francisco, in Emeryville, Ca. Sole Salon needed a hair salon logo design to communicate to a trendy audience of both men and women.
Although the audience is considered trendy, it was important to create a logo design to communicate to this audience, but also stand the test of time and avoid becoming dated. The chosen logo concept consisted of an iconic, strand of hair symbol, which doubled as the letter “S” for “Sole” and “Salon.” A font was manipulated and redesigned to create a custom font, unique to Sole Salon. It was also important that the final logo design was simple and clean, which is representative of the Aveda brand and the tranquil experience one might have at a hair salon and spa.

Tyler Walker: Racing Logo Design
The racing logo design for the Walker Sports Group went through a logo design process where much of the emphasis was on the explorations and sketches. The final logo design was created by combining symbols which represented the 3 passions of Tyler Walkers life. The parts of the logo design included a skateboard symbol, surfboard symbol, and a race car wheel symbol. The logo design was just the beginning of the branding which also included a website and a CD jewel case presentation packaging.
